We gather at Shanti Space, a stunning cottage venue in Portugal, chosen for its serene surroundings. The natural beauty of the land harmonizes with the purpose of our retreat, SATORI, guiding you toward the sudden enlightenment (or some kind of “aha” moment) and deep connection with your authentic self.

After our morning practices, we’ll come together to enjoy a generous brunch, brimming with vibrant, delicious offerings. Think colorful smoothie bowls, creamy chia pudding, homemade bread, shakshuka, and an array of warm dishes—all crafted to delight your senses and energize your day. We will then have a snack too.

 

As the sun sets, you'll gather with new friends to share a nourishing, delicious meal, each bite filled with love and intention. Every evening, you'll feel a sense of peace and connection as you reflect on the day's experiences. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared using the freshest, most seasonal, and organic ingredients available, sourced locally whenever possible.

Note: All of our meals are plant-based, and we prioritize seasonal, organic, and regional produce. If you have any specific dietary needs or allergies, please let us know when you fill out the online registration form, which you’ll receive after signing up for the retreat. We’re here to ensure that your culinary experience is as satisfying and tailored to your needs as possible.

WORKSHOPS

CONNECTING WITH INTUITION

In this engaging and transformative workshop, we will dive deep into the art of connecting with your intuition—your inner compass that guides you toward truth, clarity, and alignment.

 

Tuning into our intuition gives us access to a deeper level of awareness that transcends the noise of the mind. It helps us cut through doubt, fear, and overthinking, offering clarity and insight that aligns with our authentic selves. Intuition is an invaluable tool in navigating life’s challenges because it helps us make decisions that resonate with our true desires, values, and purpose. When we trust and act on our intuition, we experience more flow and ease, moving through life with confidence and inner certainty.

Noble Silence

In today’s fast-paced world, our minds are often cluttered with constant thoughts, and our bodies are conditioned to perpetual movement. This state of constant activity makes it difficult to connect with our inner selves or hear the wisdom that lies beneath the surface noise. Quieting the mind and body through noble silence helps us break this cycle of busyness, allowing us to: cultivate presence, find stillness, listen and not just hear...

 

Noble silence refers to a practice of intentionally refraining from speech, communication, and external distractions in order to cultivate deep inner awareness and mindfulness. It goes beyond the mere absence of words—noble silence is about quieting both the mind and body, creating a space for self-reflection, heightened presence, and a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us.

 

Keeping noble silence during the mornings will be an invitation.

Emotional Release

Our bodies are not separate from our emotions—emotions are experienced as sensations within the body, and when they are not fully expressed, they can become "stuck." This trapped energy can manifest as tightness, discomfort, or even physical pain. By working with the body, we tap into these held emotions and begin the process of release.

 

During an emotional release session, the body becomes the key instrument for unlocking and moving this energy. The goal is not to suppress or avoid emotions but to allow them to rise to the surface, to be fully felt and expressed, creating space for healing and transformation.

 

An emotional release session is a therapeutic practice that uses the body as a powerful tool for processing, expressing, and releasing stored emotions. Often, emotions like anger, sadness, fear, or frustration can become trapped in the body, creating blocks that lead to physical tension, mental distress, and emotional stagnation. This session is designed to move this stuck energy through the body, allowing it to be felt, expressed, and ultimately transformed.

Movement

Somatic practices, such as movement and breathwork, are powerful tools that allow us to reconnect with our bodies, release trapped emotions, and access our feminine energy. Feminine energy, often described as flowing, intuitive, receptive, and nurturing, thrives when we are fully present in our bodies and in tune with our emotions. Somatic practices help create the space for this connection, enabling us to embrace our feminine essence more fully.

Sound Bath

Sound has been used as a powerful healing tool for thousands of years across various cultures. The vibrations created by sound healing instruments resonate deeply with our bodies, helping to clear energetic blockages and restore balance.

 

A sound bath is a meditative experience in which participants are “bathed” in sound waves created by various instruments such as gongs, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, and other sound healing tools. The vibrations and frequencies produced by these instruments are designed to bring the mind, body, and spirit into a state of deep relaxation, balance, and harmony.

 

Unlike a traditional concert, a sound bath is not about listening to music but about experiencing the vibrations in a way that promotes healing and transformation on a cellular and energetic level.

Cyclical Living

Cyclical living refers to aligning one’s life with the natural rhythms and cycles of the body, seasons, and nature. For women, this especially involves honoring the menstrual cycle, recognizing the unique energy, emotional, and physical shifts that occur in each phase—menstruation, follicular, ovulation, and luteal.

 

By tuning into these phases, a woman can organize her activities, self-care, and even decision-making around her natural rhythms, allowing for greater balance, productivity, and self-compassion.

 

Living cyclically empowers women to embrace both the periods of rest and renewal, as well as moments of heightened energy and creativity, leading to a more harmonious and fulfilling life.

Ayurveda

Discover the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, a holistic healing system from India that focuses on balancing the mind, body, and spirit through natural rhythms and cycles. Ayurveda teaches us that our health is deeply connected to nature’s cycles, including the seasons and the phases of a woman's life, especially her menstrual cycle. By understanding your unique constitution (or dosha) and learning how to align with these natural rhythms, you can create greater balance, vitality, and well-being in your daily life.

 

During the workshop, you’ll explore how to live in harmony with your menstrual cycle and how to adapt your lifestyle, diet, and self-care practices according to the seasons and your dosha.

 

This approach to cyclical living helps you to better manage your energy, emotions, and overall health. You’ll leave with practical tools and insights that will empower you to create a life that honors your body’s natural wisdom and rhythms.

Power of Mudras

Mudras are symbolic hand gestures used in yoga and meditation to channel energy, balance emotions, and deepen your spiritual practice.

 

In this workshop, you’ll learn how specific mudras can help enhance focus, calm the mind, and connect you to your inner self. We will explore the meaning behind some of the most powerful mudras and practice them together, discovering how these simple hand positions can activate different energies in the body.

 

By the end of the session, you will know how to incorporate mudras into your daily life to support emotional balance, inner peace, and greater alignment with your authentic self.

Cacao, Kirtan & Ecstatic Dance

Kirtan is a form of call-and-response chanting rooted in the traditions of yoga and bhakti (devotional) practices. It involves the singing of mantras, often in Sanskrit, accompanied by instruments like the harmonium, drums, or cymbals.

 

Chanting mantras in community during a kirtan creates a powerful, shared energy that elevates the collective vibration, fostering a deep sense of connection and unity. The repetition of mantras helps quiet the mind, open the heart, and invite a meditative state, allowing participants to experience a profound sense of peace, devotion, and spiritual awakening.

 

In a communal setting, kirtan amplifies the power of the sound and creates a sacred, healing space for everyone involved.

A clinical psychologist, integrative mentor, energetic healer, and international speaker with a background in professional dance. Over the past decade, I've immersed myself in personal development and spiritual practices, from yoga and breathwork to ecstatic dance and mindfulness, to inner child healing and shadow work...all in pursuit of understanding the ongoing inner journey.

 

My mission is to empower women to build a healthy, loving relationship with themselves—the foundation for living authentically, making confident decisions, and creating a life aligned with their values. I know transformation is possible because I’ve experienced it myself, moving from insecurity and identity struggles to living a life rooted in self-expression and purpose. Now, I’m passionate about guiding others on their journey back to their true selves.

Maria Lupotto

Maria has a big passion for astrology and the mystics of life. In 2017, she moved to the beautiful Spanish island of Ibiza unsure of what she would encounter. Here is where her self exploration, discovery and growth journey began. With the practice of mindfulness, meditation, and astrology...she has now understood what she is here for; to give and share the highest frequency that exists: love.

 

She is a master of ceremonies, wedding celebrant, and has a strong ability to create a safe space for those around her.

 

She will be the Retreat Angel, making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable at all times.

Pamela Athwani

Pamela is a vibrant and dynamic soul with a deep love for love, chocolate, and wine. Born in Barcelona and raised with Indian roots, she brings a rich fusion of cultures and wisdom to her work. As a certified practitioner in Reiki, Tarot, Akashic Records, and Chakra Balancing, Pamela guides others on their journey to self-healing and personal growth.

 

Her passion lies in creating spaces where people can reconnect with the magic of life, as she truly believes that we are all magic. In her sessions, participants will experience warmth, laughter, and a touch of the mystical, as she helps them realize that the spirit and the unseen world are intertwined with everyday reality.

Faaria is an Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle practitioner and yoga teacher with over 10 years of experience. Rooted in her Indian heritage, she is passionate about sharing Vedic practices to help others achieve holistic well-being.

 

After healing herself from a chronic illness, she now guides others to overcome health challenges through natural, sustainable methods.

Sofia Magalhães

SOFIA.png

A food blogger and a natural chef. She loves cooking whole, fresh, local, seasonal and organic ingredients. Her plates are full of flavor, color and are plant-based.

 

She completed the Macrobiotic Cooking course at Instituto Macrobiótico Português in 2018 but has been working in the food area since 2015. She cooks for retreats, cater for events, promotes workshops and showcookings and works as a consultant for restaurants and brands.

 

Sofia also has a cookbook, “From root to branch”, which is a manual against food waste that promotes full use of food, towards a more sustainable future.
